Advanced Google Analytics guide course is designed to pick up where the Essentials left off, and really start doing some serious analytics. While the Essentials course assumes a plain vanilla out of the box installation, this course is all about customizing Google Analytics to your site and allowing you to perform the analysis to get the answers to your specific questions. First, we’re going to determine the best way to structure your specific accounts, properties, and views, so that you don’t run into trouble later. We’ll cover how to install and configure the back-end of Google to match your needs,and even how to change the data as it flows into Google.
We’ll then start digging under the hood of how Google Analytics really works, and how you can use that knowledge to troubleshoot.Once we have a solid configuration, we’ll dive into some deep segmentation and analysis,including how to avoid the pitfalls that nearly everyone falls into. Lastly, we’ll show you how you can import your own custom data sets directly into Google and mash them up with Google Analytics. Now, we don’t cover Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics Premium.We have separate courses for those specific technologies. But we’ve got a lot to cover, so let’s dive in.
